What is Livewires?

Livewires is a children's ministry on Monday nights at the Orland Evangelical Free Church. The ministry is for K-6^th graders. Your children check in at 6:30, and sing for fifteen minutes. After the singing, they listen to a fifteen minute Bible time, and then the kids separate into groups. The K-2^nd learn Bible verses for a half an hour, while the 3^rd-6^th are playing games. Then they switch, and K-2^nd play games, while 3^rd-6^th learn verses. Pickup time is 8:00.

A little bit more about Livewires:

When your children come and sign in, their names are put into a drawing bowl. The more often they come, the more chances they have of winning a prize. If they bring a friend, it gets better - they will have their name put in once for themselves, and once for their friend. Two drawings will be held, once before Christmas, and one after the New Year.

Participants receive Livewire Bucks by Memorizing their verses and by playing in the games. They can also earn them by volunteering during the Bible Time. There is a store night on Dec. 18^th, and another on March 26^th, when they can "spend" their Livewire Bucks.

This is a great opportunity for your children to learn about God's Word, and have fun at the same time!

What day is it on?

Livewires is on Monday nights, except for the holidays. The only Livewires that is not on a Monday is the Grand Prix, which is held on a saturday.
